So enough about me...

Ok...so we are not trying to conquer the world, but we are traveling to South America to begin a new adventure. Alexandra and I are starting our travels in Buenos Aires, Argentina and we are making our way to Lima, Peru. We have two and a half months to finish this journey and we have a roughly sketched itinerary. We have been planning this trip, (well mostly talking about this trip and not much actual planning), for about a year. My main goals are to learn Spanish, hike near and around the Patagonia and Andes Mountain ranges, and spend a significant amount of time surfing. I wanted to go on this trip for the same reasons many people travel each year to foreign countries. I want to gain a better understanding of the world through firsthand experience. I am extremely excited to be going on this new adventure with two very good friends. I will be traveling with Kathrine the first two weeks and with Alexandra for the remainder of the summer. I can't guarantee that any profound revelations will be posted on this blog, but I can guarantee that there will be a lot of random and questionable pictures posted. I'll do my best to keep you updated.
